Fisherfolks recover plastic container containing 10 kilos of suspected shabu

PANGASINAN -- The Infanta Police here has reported the discovery of a white plastic container containing liquid and white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu which could be worth P25 million.

A report from the Police Regional Police Office ( PRO) 1 showed that the container, with an estimated weight of ten (10) kilos, was first recovered at about 7:56 a.m. on November 15, by fisher folks with the help of Jaime Barnachea, 33, boat captain and resident of Brgy Cato, Infanta, Pangasinan.

The boat captain said they were  fishing about 100 nautical miles of the West Philippine Sea  when they discovered the container. They turned it over to the Infanta Police Station.
