These Australian-Filipino beauty queens have the best Christmas gifts for President Duterte

What can you give to President Duterte this Christmas?

Four empowered Filipino women who are based in Australia have thought of possible gifts for President Duterte during the holidays.

These women are: Mrs. Oceania Olivia Rosete Wheeler, Mrs. Australasia Kristine Aseron Santos, Mrs. Australia Maryrose Salubre, and Mrs. Classic Philippines Ceres Calizo Ledesma.

They will compete in Mrs. Universe 2020 beauty pageant which will be held in December. The winner will be chosen through public votes on the pageant’s official Facebook account from Dec. 1 to 24. The pageant's results will be announced on Jan. 1, 2021.

Here are the gifts of the candidates to the President:

"Hope, love and peace!"
"Hope so he can give hope to the people of the Philippines and for the country especially for those who had lost their hope during the hardships of pandemic and the calamities.
"Love so he can share love to the people to his country to himself to his family and to everything he does. (Give Love on Christmas Day).
"Peace so he can make peace for those whose been hurt and lost hope and trust on him (not only for the people but also for other nations).
"These are my three gifts for President Duterte because we are only human and we are not perfect."

Ceres Calizo Ledesma
Mrs. Classic Philippines
"Prayers, love and respect. I believe that these are the greatest gifts that I could give to our President. Aside from that they are free, definitely he will receive them even without his knowledge."

Kristine Aseron Santos
Mrs. Australasia
"I wanna give President Duterte a microphone 'cos I am the speaker phone. I wanna help him to be the voice to our fellow Filipinos. I wanna give him a cape 'cos he's a hero to me as he did so many things to our fellow Filipinos. I wanna give him a stove 'cos I know he's got spoon and plate for our fellow Filipinos. These things I'll give him so we can help one another that most Filipino do during the calamities."

"My gifts would be:
"Healthy, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I chose these because a clear distinction is often made between 'mind 'body and soul.’ But when considering mental health but these three wishes go hand-in-hand together and should not be thought of as separate.
"Poor physical health can lead to an increased risk of developing mental health problems and that will be the last thing that our President should be exposed with. These three elements will give him the best mindset and confidence resulting being productive whether physically emotionally and obviously if our President has a clearer mind then our country will progress and the whole nation will benefit and be proud of and his goodwill… I'll remain a legacy."
