Ryan Bang extends help to homesick South Korean vendor
Ryan Bang didn't think twice to help send home a South Korean kababayan who was stranded here due to quarantine measures.
On his recent vlog, the 29-year-old "It's Showtime" host, who rose to fame after joining the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2010, shared with fans how he was able to help 76-year-old vendor Chang Sam Hyun.

According to Ryan, he frist heard of his kababayans' predicament on TV.
He immediately went out to look for him, giving him boxes of face masks, face shields, and snacks.
He also bought all the instant ramen that the latter was selling.
Ryan then gave him money to buy plane tickets.

He explained he was saving the money to buy himself a ticket so he could spend the upcoming holidays in South Korea.
"Pero hindi na lang ako uuwi. Ibibigay ko na lang sa kanya ang tiket," he related.Â
Chang was touched.
He said, "Thank you. You are the first Korean to come. No Korean has ever come to see me. No one has even bought ramen. You're the only one."
Of course, Ryan will probably earn something from him too as his video of him since garnered quite a number of views.
