Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez build apartment for their helpers

Couple Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez shared love by building an apartment to the families of their helpers.

In a recent YouTube video, the helpers shared their testimonies on how grateful they were for being part of the Padilla family.

"Pero siyempre, dahil tao sila and nami-miss nila yung mga pamilya nila, kaya ang naisip namin (Robin) siyempre mag-aalala sila (andami-daming nangyayari) sa mga pamilya nila and we wanted to remove that worry away from them para hindi na nila yun iniisip," said Mariel.

"So Robin decided to take them under his wing. There's a place wherein Robin takes care of a few Muslim families and for the very first time they opened the doors to Christians; for our staff," she added.

The apartment building is built inside the compound of the Museo Padilla in Fairview, Quezon City.

Building a shelter is the couple's way of giving back to their kasambahay for their loyalty and hard work.

The vlog ended by showing the finished apartment compound as the helpers and their families thanked the Padillas.
