NRX, PH teams lose steam in ESL MSP Major

NRX Jeremiah 29:11 and fellow Filipino teams VVV Esports, VVV Conquerors and PDR Reborn pressed on in the ESL MSP Major with mixed results in the second day of group stage on Sunday.

NRX, the representative of the Garena server in the Call Of Duty Mobile World Championship in Los Angeles next month, scored a 2-1 victory over VVV Conquerors in their off-stream match.

However, the Southeast Asian champion suffered a 2-1 shocker to PDR Reborn in their livestreamed game.

VVV Esports sustained its fiery form with a 3-0 sweep of Singapore's Impunity before bowing down to Singaporean powerhouse Divinity.Uprising, 2-1.

After losing to NRX, VVV Conquerors rebounded with a 2-1 triumph over Malaysia's Klasiko Rampage.

PDR failed to keep the momentum off its upset against NRX as it bowed down to current leader Resurgence of Malaysia, 2-1.

NRX fell while VVV Esports rose to a tie at No. 3 in the eight team standings of the $3,500 regional online tilt. Both teams hold seven points (7-5 win-loss).

PDR dropped to solo No. 5 with six points (6-6) even as VVV Conquerors stayed at No. 6 with five markers (5-7).
