BAGUIO CITY – The city recorded 47 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, and 52 recoveries on Sunday, November 15.
According to the City Health Service Office (CHSO), a 77-year-old female was also logged as the city’s seventh fatality for the month.
Of the new cases, 38 were tracked through contact tracing, including eight seniors, five minors; three were detected through expanded testing, five were symptomatic, and one was work-related.
For the past 15 days of November, the city has registered a total of 599 cases, 719 recoveries and seven deaths.
As of 6 p.m., November 15, the city COVID-19 monitoring team has listed a total of 2.750 confirmed cases, 2,143 recoveries, 570 active and 37 deaths.
The latest fatality had been coughing and complaining of difficulty of breathing at the Notre Dame Hospital since November 13, before she expired at 7:49 a.m., Sunday.
CHSO said her final diagnosis was acute respiratory failure due to confirmed COVID-19 infection, severe pneumonia, acute coronary syndrome, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease.
