Bb. Pilipinas will still send candidate to Miss Globe - sources

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. will still send a Philippine delegate to the Miss Globe beauty pageant  in 2021.

Sources said that when the Bb. Pilipinas 2020 pageant resumes in 2021, one of the titles still up for grabs would be Bb. Pilipinas Globe.

But the prestigious pageant is firm in its decision that it does not recognize the candidacy of Rowena Lucero Sasuluya who won 4th runner-up in the Miss Globe 2020 pageant held in Albania a few days ago.

It was alleged that there was breach of contract when Sasuluya competed in Miss Globe 2020 pageant without the knowledge of BPCI.

Sources added that the BPCI had no knowledge of the Miss Globe organization when it invited Sasuluya to join the international competition.

The Bb. Pilipinas 2020 beauty pageant has been delayed due to the pandemic. With the disqualification of Sasuluya from this year's official batch of candidates, 39 girls are now competing in the national pageant.
