Maria Charo Calalo drops holiday tune 'Miss Kita Kung Christmas'

Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 Maria Charo Calalo gets sentimental as she released the holiday song "Miss Kita Kung Christmas" on YouTube Nov. 13.

The popular Christmas song is the lead off to her Christmas CD called "Himala'yÂ Laganap" which will be launched on Sunday, Nov. 15.

Asked how she's preparing for Christmas amid the pandemic, the beauty queen said: "Looking for the brighter side tulad ng lyrics sa kanta ko ng himalay laganapâ€¦ eto na ang oras himalay laganap Hindi ka luluha wag ma gamba wag mabahala sa gabing madilim mag Ilaw ang buwan at mga bituin. Be positive sa lahat ng bagay at isipin na ang God ay Andyan Lang to protect us just believe in him â¤ï¸"

The song was originally recorded by Queen of Visayan Songs Susan Fuentes.
