Amateur standout Markyyy joins Onic PH

Onic PH announced its newest addition in emerging Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player Marky "Markyyy" Capacio.Â

"From the amateur circuits to the big leagues! Let's welcome MarkyyyÂ as the newest addition to our family!" the team said in a Facebook post on Friday.Â

Markyyy was part of Team WoRKÂ that won the P1 million champion's prize in the Smart Siklab Saya earlier this year.Â Â

The announcementÂ came two days after former captain and support/tank Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna and hyper-carry Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario parted ways with the two-time MPL-Philippines runner-up.Â

Onic earlier acquired the services of former Execration carry Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales.Â

As it stands, Onic still has sidelaners Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera and Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog, support/tank Jason "Jay" Torculas and sixth man Peter Bryce "Basic" Lozano.Â

Onic fell short of living up to its fans' expectations as it only finished fourth in the MPL Season 6 despite sweeping rival Aura PH in the first round of the playoffs.Â
