Onic PH announced its newest addition in emerging Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player Marky "Markyyy" Capacio.
"From the amateur circuits to the big leagues! Let's welcome Markyyy as the newest addition to our family!" the team said in a Facebook post on Friday.
Markyyy was part of Team WoRK that won the P1 million champion's prize in the Smart Siklab Saya earlier this year.
The announcement came two days after former captain and support/tank Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna and hyper-carry Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario parted ways with the two-time MPL-Philippines runner-up.
Onic earlier acquired the services of former Execration carry Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales.
As it stands, Onic still has sidelaners Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera and Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog, support/tank Jason "Jay" Torculas and sixth man Peter Bryce "Basic" Lozano.
Onic fell short of living up to its fans' expectations as it only finished fourth in the MPL Season 6 despite sweeping rival Aura PH in the first round of the playoffs.
