Floodwater on Marcos Highway in Santolan, Pasig City is currently waist deep, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.Â

At 11:53 a.m. today, the agency said the floodwater reached waist deep following the heavy rains brought by typhoon "Ulysses."
MMDA Metro Base is monitoring the flooding on major thoroughfares in the metropolis.
Marcos Highway is located near the Marikina River, the water level of which as of 11:38 a.m. today was 21.9 meters.

MMDA has dispatched around 700 of its men to help in road clearing and rescue operations in Metro Manila, including Marikina and Pasig.
