Catriona Gray reacts to basher questioning her trip abroad during typhoon

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray assured pageant fans that she's doing her part in extending help to typhoon victims even if she is abroad.

This after a netizen questioned her trip to Colombia at the height of typhoon "Ulysses." 

The netizen said that Catriona that she should be helping her province deal with typhoons instead of travelling abroad. Bicol, the hometown of Catriona, has been battered by two strong weather disturbances the past days.

Catriona is in Colombia to judge in the Miss Universe Colombia 2020 beauty pageant and promote Smile Train.

"Cat, why are you in Colombia instead of helping your own province deal with the typhoon? I have always been a fan but especially with traveling during a pandemic? What example does taking this job send to everyone?" the netizen questioned Catriona on Instagram.

Catriona responded: "This invitation was extended months ago and even though I'm away, I've been doing my part in working with @philredcross since the day of the typhoon to provide aid and relief to the affected areas. ♥️ Thanks for your concern."

But some netizens appeared annoyed at the post of the confessed pageant fan and defended the beauty queen.

"Judgemental, atleast check her activities before dropping your dumb opinion here. She's doing her part helping in the country."

"We should not complain instead work together and god will bless the people who work with their heart and mind. Amen."
