Due to the onslaught of typhoon "Ulysses," close to 200 families were evacuated by the local government unit of Paranaque City to evacuation centers.
The Paranaque City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said about 30 areas in the city are currently flooded.
As of 10 a.m. today, the CDRRMO said a total of 643 individuals or 188 families are currently at 13 evacuation centers in the city.
Based on the data of the Paranaque CDRRMO, flood water in some areas in the city was chest deep.
Earlier today, red rainfall warning was raised by the State weather bureau over several areas affected by Ulysses.
The warning was raised in flood-prone areas Metro Manila, Quezon, Bulacan, Rizal, and Laguna.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said they have deployed at least 700 of their personnel to cities in the metropolis to assist them in their typhoon-related operations.
