Actor Robin Padilla is the latest in a long line of celebrities erroneously reported dead.
The 50-year-old action star took to social media to express dismay over the matter, posting a prayer on his Instagram account.

"In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful, say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from anything harmful in Creation, from the evil of darkness as it spreads, from the evil of knotted spells, from the evil of the envier when he envies."
Robin's wife, TV host Mariel Rodriguez, also reacted on the issue.
"Lagi na lang noh babe? Lagi sila may ganyan...," was how she put it.
Among stars who were also subject of so-called death hoaxes include Jessy Mendiola, Claudine Barretto, John Lloyd Cruz, Gary Valenciano, and Bamboo Mañalac.
