Here's what Manny Pacquiao has to say on his son's music career

The quarantine period has allowed him to get to know his kids better

One of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao’s sons, Michael, recently took the internet by storm after showcasing his rap skills through a live performance of his song “Hate” in the Wish bus.

Manny said he and his wife Jinkee, were aware that Michael was producing an album, and they were happy that it had suddenly spiked in popularity.

“Masaya ako na mahilig siya sa music. Ngayon, busy siya kasi nagcocompose siya ng mga kanta (I’m happy that he is interested in music. He is busy composing songs now),” the boxer said in an interview with Tim Yap, adding that quarantine period has allowed him to get to know his kids better. “Si Jimuel naman gusto ang ballads. Pareho silang mana sa akin (Jimuel likes ballads. They both got their love for music from me).”

Manny added that he is happy to be able to spend more time with his family. Proving he is a cool dad, he has also joined his kids in doing dance challenges on TikTok.
