Bennyqt, Hadess join Aura; Hate to Onic PH

Eyeing to get back to the top, Aura PH and Onic PH unveiled their new players for the next season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League (MPL). 

A circulating rumor which turned out to be a reality, two-time champion Aura acquired former Execration sidelaner Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales along with ex-Cignal Ultra carry Jaymark Aaron "Hadess" Lazaro. 

The team announced the development through a Facebook video on Tuesday night wherein mainstays Chan "Rafflesia" Fajura, Ahsley "Killuash" Cruz, Allen "Greed_" Baloy and coach Michael Angelo "Arcadia" Bocado are seen welcoming the two. 

"We're thrilled to announce the newest members of Aura PH. Welcome to #AuraFam Bennyqt and Hadess! We are glad to have you fam!" the team said in a post. 

Bennyqt and Hadess replaced sidelaner Kiel Vj "Kielvj" Hernandez and sixth man Renz Errol "Renzio" Cadua. 

Aura is coming off a lackluster finish in the MPL-Philippines Season 6, bowing out right in the first round of the playoffs after suffering a sweep at the hands of fierce rival Onic. 

Meanwhile, Onic revealed ex-Execration carry Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales as its latest player. 

"Support comes from the most unlikely places. Let's give a warm welcome sa newest addition sa family, Hate!" the team said in a Facebook post.

As what Execration coach Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso said in his stream, Hate left the team as he wanted to play the support role and could not keep up with them. 

Onic has yet to announce who Hate will replace in the squad as well as other possible changes in the lineup. 

Bannered by captain Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna, Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario, Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera, Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog and Jason Rafael "Jay" Torculas, Onic finished fourth in Season 6 after absorbing a reverse sweep to Execration. 

The two teams' revamped rosters are expected to debut in the $100,000-ONE Esports MPL Invitational slated on Nov. 27 to Dec. 6.
