Bass-heavy party speakers, eye-catching, dynamic headphones

The highlights of JBL's first online launch in PH

If you consider yourself an audiophile, there’s a high chance that you are already familiar with the sound expertise JBL brings to the table. The audio brand, which is under Harman International, a subsidiary of Samsung known for its well-engineered connected car systems and audio and visual products, continuously launches in the market a wide array of home entertainment and portable speakers, as well as headphones that boast the quality of JBL’s signature sound.JBL recently held its first online launch in the Philippines and here are the top highlights of the online party you might have missed.

There’s a new PartyBox in town

Other than the uncompromised sound quality of its products, a unique thing that JBL has is how it strategically highlights the functions of each of its audio devices. Take the PartyBox lineup for example. Since these are speakers designed to hype up a party with heavy bass, JBL made them highly portable and easy to carry, plus they all have integrated light show which synchronizes to the beat of the music.

The latest models under this lineup are the JBL PartyBox On-the-Go and the JBL PartyBox 310. The JBL PartyBox On-the-Go attributes its main selling feature to its dual-microphone and quick plug-and-play guitar input. It comes with a strap so users can bring the powerful sound it can produce anywhere they go. The JBL PartyBox 310, on the other hand, is designed just like a suitcase with wheels and handle for smooth transport.

Both the JBL PartyBox On-the-Go and the JBL PartyBox 310 come with JBL Pro Sound and have IPX4 splashproof protection. The JBL PartyBox On-the-Go can deliver up to six hours of music, while the JBL PartyBox 310 has a battery life of 18 hours.

Get your hands on these DJ-approved headphones

JBL has also brought in the Philippines their most advanced lineup of headphones to date, the JBL CLUB Series which they made in collaboration with the world’s most famous DJs, including Armin Van Buuren.

According to Damon Johnson, Harman's global product marketing director, the JBL CLUB series is the result of JBL's goal to bring to the consumers high-end audio devices that's fitting to how highly-acclaimed DJs listen and use their headphones.

"We made it our goal to travel with these world-class DJs to their studios around the world," Johnson shared. "Take those learnings, take those measurements, and put them, pour them all back into the CLUB range and what came out we're extremely proud of."

Comprising of the JBL CLUB ONE, JBL JBL CLUB 950NC, and the JBL CLUB 700BT, the JBL CLUB series is equipped with top-of-the-line features including Harman's proprietary Personi-Fi technology. This feature allows the headphones to adapt to the preferred listening experience of the users, giving them the freedom to tweak and calibrate the headphones according to their liking through the my JBL Headphones app.

Other notable features of this series are the True Adaptive Noise Cancellation and Silent Now listening capabilities, the Tap and Talk function for quick access to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The well-loved JBL Go speaker has an all-new design

One of JBL’s best-selling portable speakers, the JBL Go, now comes in an all-new design that steered away from the previous cube look of the JBL Go and the JBL Go 2. The JBL Go 3 showcases itself wrapped in a woven JBL signature fabric which more than just the aesthetics, brings rugged protection to the speakers. JBL also improved its sound quality to make the JBL Go 3 capable of delivering a more punchy bass. The JBL Go 3 also comes IP67-rated, making it waterproof and dustproof.

Apart from the JBL Go 3, also launched in the Philippine market is the new JBL Xtreme 3 which now comes with four improved drivers and two JBL Bass Radiators, and a 15-hour battery life which other than for playing music, can also be used to simultaneously charge devices via its USB-C power input. Local JBL fans can now also get the BoomBox 2, JBL's biggest and boldest speaker, with a whopping 24-hour battery life.

These revamped TWS earphones are all about the hassle-free listening experience

Under its true wireless offerings, JBL also introduced the JBL Tune 115TWS, JBL Tune 125TWS, and the JBL Tune 225TWS. These wireless earphones pack the JBL Pro Signature Sound complemented with ergonomic designs, and a battery life ranging from 21 to 25 hours.

An important feature JBL planted on these TWS earphones is what's called the Dual Connect function, which addresses some of TWS users' dilemma of not being able to use just one of the earbuds. With this, JBL allows the users to freely listen to either of the earbuds in stereo and mono mode.

JBL’s #SquadGoals promo
