Richard Gomez gives love advice to daughter Juliana

Like most dads, Richard Gomez gets sentimental about how fast time flies.

When her unica hija Juliana Gomez became the date of Aga Muhlach’s son Andres for the young man’s prom last year, the politician said he couldn’t believe how quickly his daughter had grown up. 

“I told Aga, ‘Ang bilis ng panahon no?’ Ngayon, sila na ang lumalabas,” Gomez said in a recent interview with entertainment writer G3 San Diego.

Gomez revealed that it was actually Muhlach who called him up first and asked if his son could bring Juliana to prom. “Sabi ko naman sa kanya walang problema. I just told him to let Andres call her,” Gomez revealed. 

Gomez also said he knows that the time will come for Juliana to fall in love, but he advised his 20-year-old daughter to take it easy.

“Dating is a part of life. Hindi mo naman pwedeng pigilan. If you do, they’ll just keep secrets from you,” he said. “I would allow her to go out with her friends. Some friends would come to our house and join us for dinner. And I always tell her to take it easy. Of course, a lot of guys will be going to her, talking to her, or maybe date her out, but I said, choose well, be careful, and don’t rush.”
