The Philippines has been making waves in the international plant scene, as many claim that a “plantdemic” has hit the country.
But who can be blamed for the rise of gardening as a means to while away all this time spent in one form of lockdown or quarantine? If anything, Pinoy plantitas and plantitos should be lauded for their ingenuity in this quirky display of environmental awareness, with many finding ways to spruce up their homes with one plant or another—aroids included.
Now, whether you’re a certified plantita or -tito, or still growing into the role, you’re bound to find a lot of information to get your gardening groove at the upcoming Aroids Festival 2020.
This year’s plant festivities, organized by Arid and Aroids Nurseries in partnership with the Manila Bulletin and Resorts World Manila, will be held from Nov. 18 to 22 at the Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.
