Janine Gutierrez, Elijah Canlas bag top honors at Gawad Urian

Janine Gutierrez and Elijah Canlas won top acting honors at the 43rd Gawad Urian Awards held on Nov. 10.

Gutierrez won best actress for the movie "Babae at Baril" while Canlas was named best actor for the film "Kalel, 15."

Upon winning the award, Gutierrez tweeted: "OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! ?"

"Babae at Baril," the story of a saleslady who discovers the power of owning a gun, won best picture and best director for Rae Red.
