Avril Lavigne unleashes her inner 'Skater Girl'

She may have described "Sk8er boi" in her song back in 2002, but on her recent Instagram post last Monday, Canadian Pop-rock artist Avril Lavigne rode the skateboard once more.

The video and photo of her skating bears no caption, and it garnered more than 500,000 likes as of writing.

Avril, 36, rose to international fame in the early 2000's for her hit songs "Complicated," "Sk8er Boi," "Girlfriend," "When You're Gone," among others.
