United City FC looks to cap off a successful title run with a perfect season when it battles Kaya-Iloilo Monday night in the Philippines Football League at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Kickoff is set at 7:30 p.m. with United City, which secured the crown last Friday, attempting to end the shortened season backed by Qatar Airways having won all five matches before lifting the PFL trophy inside the bubble.

It is the only thing that motivates UCFC after taking the title with four victories via a combined margin of 24-1.

UCFC was assured of the championship and a direct berth to the group stage of the AFC Champions League after beating Stallion-Laguna, 7-1, coupled with slip-ups by Kaya, which were held to a pair of scoreless draws by Stallion and Mendiola FC 1991.

Only pride is at stake for Kaya, which was initially considered as the closest threat to United City’s title bid but will now play the role of spoiler in the latter’s quest for perfection.

The Azkals Development Team, winners of the last two matches, tries to secure a strong finish at 9 a.m. opposite Stallion.

ADT defeated Maharlika-Manila, 5-0, on Friday to virtually assure itself of at least a third place finish.

Maharlika wraps up its maiden season opposite Mendiola in the second game at 4 p.m.
