Miss World Philippines warns of scammers using its name to dupe netizens

The name of Miss World Philippines is being used by scammers on social media.

The organization warned the public about this, sharing a screenshot of a social media profile bearing their name, which they deemed fake.

"Please be warned that this is a fake account and that Miss World Philippines has not sanctioned nor given them permission to post things on our behalf," the pageant body wrote as caption to the post.

They also encouraged their followers to help them report the said account.

Note the fake Miss World Philippines account has been reaching out to online users saying they have won $10,000 each from the company's "international promotions programs."
