Kris Aquino excited to appear on 'Wowowin' but…
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has said that she is excited to appear on the popular game show "Wowowin" hosted by Willie Revillame on GMA 7 this month as the newest ambassador of shopping app Shopee.
But Aquino said that she does not want to make promises until she's in the Kapuso studio.
"I don't want to make promises that I can not keep. But I think it's Shopee already that is saying that I will be there. So if it's from Shopee, it must be true," said Aquino during a digital conference for Shopee recently.
Aquino said she's careful about making promises now after negotiations for a TV show for another network failed.
"Let's all keep our fingers crossed because I myself won't believe it until I'm really there. I've said that to my fans also and my followers. Until I'm holding that microphone and until I see those lights and until I see that camera with that red light on and I look at the monitor and I see myself there, even I won't be believing it. So let's pray it happens. Things can still change," she added.
On Instagram, Aquino admitted she cried when she got her endorsement for Shopee.
"When we got this contract, I cried and it was because the mom in me felt my sons could be proud of me again… maybe some perspective? i knew my mom felt proudest of her 'baby' whenever a new commercial would be airing. it was a rule in her home - no competing products could be bought, only what i endorsed," she said.
"To @shopee_ph THANK YOU for believing in me when i needed to believe in me again. i know we only signed for 1 year, BUT you really did give me #forever. You opened doors i had already conditioned my heart to accept were already closed. And because of your faith in me, you have paved the way for many new, exciting opportunities.
"Before i am kris, i’ll always first be Cory’s daughter, and Josh & Bimb’s mama… @shopee_ph you gave me that most special gift, the rare second chance in a lifetime to give the best in me to make the 3 people i need most to see the best version of me, come true for all to see-again," Aquino added.
Aquino also hinted at embarking on new projects.
"I’ll give them the due courtesy to make the formal announcement, but starting early this November, i’m embarking on a project that a lot of you, my followers, have long been asking for.
"Maraming salamat sa kanila for thinking of this special project for me, and thank you because nangulit kayo sa mga social media accounts ko, nagsabing naghihintay lang kayo, na monitor nila, and that’s why this is happening."
"Plus yung request ninyo na maging 'ninang' krisy mas madali ko nang magagawan ng paraan - because i now have 2 unique brand partners, one for delivery, and another for all your supermarket needs. Very fulfilling because i’m overjoyed to be doing the job i love, and it gives me the chance to share my blessings when it really will make a difference," Aquino said.
