President Duterte will release the names of government officials suspected of corruption in the coming months as the President has never hesitated in his intensified campaign against illegal drugs, criminality, and corruption, Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said Thursday.

“Alam ninyo, tuloy-tuloy po ‘yan, papangalanan ni Pangulo sa buwan na ito at sa susunod na buwan, tuwing may makakasuhan at masususpinde ang Ombudsman,’’ he said.
(You know, this will go on, the President will start naming names this month and the coming months, every time an official has been charged and suspended by the Ombudsman)
“Papangalanan niya po ito sa publiko para malaman po ng mga Pilipino kung sino ‘yung may mga kaso,’’ he added.
(He will name them in public so the Filipino people will know who are those facing charges)
Go warned government officials to shape up lest they want to be included in the list.
“Ngayon, kung ayaw ninyong pangalanan kayo, e ‘di wag kayong pumasok sa korapsyon dahil tuloy-tuloy po ang kampanya namin ni Pangulo laban sa korapsyon,’’ he said.
(Now, if you do not want to be named, do not commit corrupt practices because our campaign with the President against corruption will continue)
Go, a former special assistant to Duterte, also stated that Duterte would talk to suspended officials of the Bureau of Immigration who are allegedly involved in systemic corruption on Monday.
“In fact, ‘yung mga nasuspendido na mga taga-Bureau of Immigration ay kanyang haharapin sa darating na Lunes at kanyang kakausapin,’’ he said.
(The President will confront and talk to suspended officials of the Bureau of Immigration on Monday)
“Naghihirap po ang mga Pilipino. ‘Wag naman pagsamantalahan pa. Sa kampanya laban sa korapsyon, talagang tutuluyan namin kayo ni Pangulong Duterte.’’
(Do not take advantage of Filipinos further. In the campaign against corruption, I and President Duterte will finish you)
“Alam ninyo, mas marami pong mga matitinong mga Pilipino na gustong magtrabaho at maglingkod para sa ating bayan. ‘Yun po ang totoo kaya madaling maghanap ng matitinong tao na gustong maglingkod sa kapwa Pilipino,’’ he said.
(You know, there are still upright Filipinos who want to work and serve the country. That’s the truth, it’s easy to look for upright persons who want to serve their fellow Filipinos)
