Julia Barretto reveals she's in love

After not spilling the tea if whether she's in a relationship or not for quite some time now, young actress Julia Barretto has finally ended the speculations by confirming that she's indeed in love, which is the reason why she's happy these days.

The confirmation happened during an interview with G3 San Diego for MEGA Ent, where she even verified the answer three times.

On why she's making it for herself only, Julia talked about how "nobody understands the kind of trauma of having a relationship so public, and then also have a lot of people see when your relationship fails."

Julia noted how "traumatizing" it was for her because she "genuinely cared" about that former partner, seemingly referring to actor Joshua Garcia, who was her boyfriend of three years.

"I genuinely loved this guy, and then I shared so much that when we broke up they thought they knew the whole story. They thought they knew my pains, they thought they knew my joys, they thought they knew everything—all the reasons that caused the breakup. But nobody really does," she pointed out.

That's why one of the things she made herself confident in when it comes to her personal relationships is that now she's in control.

"I am in total control of how much I am only willing to share and how much I am only allowing people to know. I’ve already come to realize how important it is to protect your peace and privacy—and that both go well together,” she noted.

In the same interview, Julia also recalled how her and Joshua's love story blossom until it folded.
