A fisherman died at the Laguna Lake on Sunday while almost 100,000 individuals were displaced in CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) due to typhoon ‘Rolly’, the local reported on Monday.

The lone fatality was identified as Hipolito Añain who was reported to have drowned at the Binangonan, Rizal portion of the Laguna Lake on Sunday. The incident was reported by his companions.
The Batangas police, however, reported that a man was reported missing in Batangas City on Sunday.
Three people, on the other hand, were reported injured, all from Cavite.
Based on the PNP report, most of the evacuees are from Batangas with 36,500 people, followed by Laguna with 22,600 persons, Quezon with 19,400 people and Cavite with more than 12,000.
The report also stated that 91 areas in CALABARZON have no power supply—39 of them are in Cavite and 27 in Batangas.
