Cavite under state of calamity due to 'Rolly'


CAVITE - The local government unit declared the province under state of calamity due to the impact of Super Typhoon ‘Rolly.’

Resolution No. 1618-2020 passed by the Provincial Council authorized the utilization of P10-million from the quick response fund of 2020 Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund.

The amount will be used to purchase relief goods for the affected residents and for other expenses related to the effect of the typhoon.

As per PAGASA's 2:00 PM bulletin, Cavite remains under signal Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal no. 4. Pre-emptive evacuations have been conducted in high-risk areas around the province. (with a report from Joseph Pedrajas)
