NDRRMC Executive Director Ricardo Jalad said they were from regions on the path of Rolly -- (Region 5), Calabarzon (Region 4-A), Mimaropa (Region 4-B), Metro Manila, Central Luzon (Region 3), Ilocos (Region 1), Cagayan Valley (Region 2), Western Visayas (Region 6), Central Visayas (Region 7), Eastern Visayas (Region 8), and Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9).

"Based on the current projected track of super typhoon Rolly, an estimated 19.8 million are exposed to the typhoon within the 60-kilometer diameter, and 31.9 million within the 120-kilometer diameter," Jalad said in a press briefing at the NDRRMC headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City Sunday.

He said the affected individuals were composed of 4.2 million households within the 60-kilometer diameter and 7.1 million households within the 120-kilometer diameter.

Around 1.3 million families within the 60-kilometer diameter and 2.4 million families within the 120-kilometer diameter belong to the poor population, he said.

Jalad said that around 105,000 to 221,000 houses made of light materials in these areas are at risk of being wiped out due to the strong winds and rains from Rolly.

From a high of more than 900,000 Saturday night, Jalad said only 96,543 families composed of 346,993 individuals were actually pre-emptively evacuated in the Bicol region due to Rolly.

NDRRMC spokesperson Mark Timbal clarified that the estimates  Saturday night were only the projected evacuees in Bicol region.

"The figure last night was the projected evacuee account that the Bicol region DRRMC has prepared for. The figure that we have now is the actual counted evacuees."
