176 families in Isla Puting Bato evacuated

Around 176 families residing in Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila were evacuated Sunday by the local government as typhoon Signal #4 was raised over Metro Manila.

The Manila public information office said 49 families were brought to Baseco Evacuation Center, 105 families at Barangay 128 complex, 17 families at the Rosauro Almario Elementary School and five families at the Barangay 101 covered court. 

Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said partition tents will be provided to evacuees  to ensure physical distancing.

"Our top most priority is to practice minimum health protocols sa paglilikas at pangangalaga sa ating mga posibleng evacuees (in evacuating and taking care of our evacuees). Number one priority pa rin ang COVID-19 (Our number 1 priority is still COVID-19)," he added.
