'The Craft' movie reboot is serving spellbinding, witchy beauty just in time for Halloween

For the witching hour, we need shimmer bath bombs, fantasy makeup, and major accessorizing

Just in time for the season of spooks, Blumhouse Production releases the trailer for its latest Halloween flick The Craft: Legacy. A reboot of the 1996 cult favorite, the modern iteration of the movie is helmed by director Zoe Lister-Jones, starring Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Aldon, Lovie Simone, and Zoey Luna as the new witches of the coven.

Based on its trailer, The Craft: Legacy is expected to play on the same themes as its predecessor did. It even features the original’s iconic chant: “Light as a feather, stiff as a board.”

While we have yet to see if the film will live up to the classic, what can’t be denied is the fabulous upgrade the young witches got in the new movie. Think of Euphoria and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina all wrapped in Gen Z femme magic.

Glitter baths and bedazzled beauty looks set a new tone for the witches. But don’t be fooled by the pixie aesthetics, these ladies are stepping into the dark side with their edgy, vintage style replete with charm accessories, ’90s outerwear, and moody florals.

What can we say, these “girls just want to have fun.” Until they have too much fun.
