Aura Philippines and Onic Philippines will lock horns in a grudge finals rematch to fittingly close the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League-Philippines (MPL-PH) Season 6 group stage.

Protagonists of the past two season finales, defending champion Aura (formerly known as Sunsparks) and runner-up Onic will collide at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.

However, both teams will need to look past their fierce rivalry first as they still have tasks left in the regular season along with the other squads in the upcoming Week 8.

Even with the playoff casts already determined, teams are expected to make a final push for their desired positions in the single elimination playoffs.

Cignal Ultra, which still has a chance to surpass Onic at No. 3 in Group B, will take on top seed Bren Esports to start the closing week at 6 p.m. on Friday. Bren is already set to battle Group A's fourth seed Nexplay Solid in the playoffs.

Current Group A leader Blacklist International will try to retain its grip on the top spot when it battles fellow contender Execration at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Smart Omega will aim to lock in on the second seed in Group B with a win over also-ran BSB at 4:30 p.m, before Aura tangles with eliminated Blu Fire at 6 p.m. and Onic duels Cignal at 7:30 p.m.

MPL-PH will offer an electrifying quadruple-header on Sunday capped by the Aura-Onic collision.

Behind the previous week's MVP in John Paul "H2wo" Salonga, NXP will seek to keep its winning streak versus Cignal at 3 p.m. Omega and Execration will clash at 4:30 p.m. while Bren and Blacklist battle at 6 p.m. for the chance to close the eliminations on a high.
