Are you a student-gamer? There's a tournament that gives away P1 million to competitive players

Filipino student-gamers from titles League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang will get a chance to compete on the international stage through the National Campus Open. 

Filipino student-gamers will get a shot to compete on international stage as Esports AcadArena, the leading campus esports program in the country, is set to hold the National Campus Open both for League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. 

A total of 16 school-based teams will duke it out in the LoL tournament which will serve as a qualifier for the International e-Culture Festival 2020 slated on November 28 and 29 in Gangnam, South Korea. 

The tourney also stakes a P1 million prize pool worth of cash, campus grant and Riot Points (RP). 

Teams can enter via the Alliance Qualifiers and the Open Qualifiers on October 10 and 11, respectively. 

Twelve slots are allotted for the members of the AcadArena Alliance—University of Sto. Tomas’ Teletigers, Ateneo De Manila University’s LG Esports, De La Salle University’s Viridus Arcus, University of the Philippines’ Oblation Esports, Far Eastern University-IT’s iTamaraws, West Visayas University Esports Org, University of San Agustin’s SAGE Esports and Malayan Colleges Laguna’s Malayan Esports. 

On the other hand, four seats will be given to the Open Qualifiers which is available for all college students and above. 

Registration for the Alliance and Open qualifiers closes on October 9 and 10, respectively. 

Meanwhile, the Mobile Legends tilt will be a qualifier for another edition of the PVP Esports Campus Championship which will take place on December 5 to 6. 

A total P300,000 worth of cash, gears and diamonds will be up for grabs in the competition that will pit 16 teams—eight from the Alliance member-schools and eight from the two sets of Open Qualifiers. 

The Alliance Qualifiers will be held on October 10 while the Open will be on October 17 and 24, with registration ending a day before. 

Senior high school and college students are eligible to compete. Players who participated in any season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) are not allowed to join.
