ABS-CBN reveals shows airing on Channel 11

ABS-CBN Corporation announced that its blocktime agreement with the newly-rebranded A2Z channel 11 will allow it to air its teleseryes, movies, and live entertainment shows on the newly rebranded A2Z channel 11 this weekend.

In a statement, ABS-CBN said the popular “It’s Showtime” will air live on Saturday (October 10) and “ASAP Natin ‘To” on Sunday (October 11) to bring musical performances and fun games to viewers.

A2Z channel 11 will also have a marathon telecast of teleseryes “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “Ang Sa Iyo ay Akin,” and “Walang Hanggang Paalam” this weekend (October 10 and 11) before the regular primetime run of their fresh episodes on weeknights starting Monday (October 12).

In the coming weeks, A2Z channel 11 will also air public service programs “Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan” and “Iba ‘Yan.”

Viewers will also be able to enjoy the live discussions in “Magandang Buhay,” mystery game show “I Can See Your Voice,” and Asia’s longest-running drama anthology “MMK” on A2Z channel 11 soon.

Aside from entertainment shows, movies and educational programs will start airing on the channel tomorrow (October 8).

ABS-CBN earlier said that some of its shows will air on the newly rebranded A2Z channel 11 through its agreement with Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc.

A2Z channel 11 will be seen on analog TV in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. It will also be available on cable and satellite TV operators nationwide. 

ABS-CBN shows continue to be seen on cable and satellite TV via Kapamilya Channel, online via iWant TFC and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook, and globally through our cable TV and satellite partners.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reported that shares oft ABS-CBN Corp. rose by the 50% daily limit after announcing the return to free-to-air television of some of its entertainment shows three months since it was denied a congressional permit.

Shares closed at 13.50 pesos each on Wednesday in Manila trading, the highest since July 22, even as the index fell by 0.7%. It also rallied by 50% on Monday, then slumped 15% the next day. Shares of its parent company Lopez Holdings Corp. also rose by 21% on Wednesday. ABS-CBN has stopped broadcast since May when the government ordered it to shut its free TV and radio stations after its franchise expired. The network -- often the target of President Rodrigo Duterte’s tirades -- said Tuesday that some of its shows and movies will be seen on Channel 11 through an agreement with Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc.
