Taking a break from his rehearsals for his upcoming virtual concert, Box-Office King Daniel Padilla reveals he gets emotional whenever he hears the old song "Smile" by Nat King Cole.
"Gusto ko iyong kantang 'Smile' by Nat King Cole. I remember kasi ito yung kinakanta sa akin ng lola ko bago ako matulog," says Padilla when asked about the songs that make him emotional, during a virtual press conference for his virtual concert "Apollo: A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience" Tuesday night.
Padilla, 25, says that he dreams of music collaboration with his siblings in future shows. "Masaya ako pagkasama sila so sana magkaroon ng maraming chance makasama ko sila sa mga show."
The Kapamilya star also reveals that he wants to get married before the age of 30.
"Sana 3-4 years from now makasal na ako. Huwag na sigurong patagalin pa," said Padilla who is currently in a relationship with fellow box-office star Kathryn Bernardo.
Padilla says that his concert will cover almost all genres during the show. "May mga luma pero hindi naman sobrang luma. Nasa kanta yung mga message ko sa kanila. Sana sa mga kakantahin ko ay mabigyan sila ng bagong bukas at bagong pag-asa."
He adds: "Sa panahon ngayon ang hirap maglabas ng pera. Kung ano man ang mga ibinibigay ko sa kanila sa mga show ko nuon, ganun pa rin. Walang magbabago. I will make sure na magugustuhan nila ang show."
In choosing the songs for the concert, Padilla says: "Naghahanap ako ng kanta na may emotions at may tatak. Yung malakas talaga ang tama sa akin."
Padilla says he is ready to take his fans to a gig like no other and highlight his exciting evolution as a concert performer throughout the years.
