What Kim Chiu wants to achieve in the last three months of 2020

The new year is just around the corner and Kapamilya star Kim Chiu has one major goal in the remaining months of 2020.

"My goal is to survive 2020. I want to be happy. I want to survive physically, mentally, financially. Dapat malakas tayo," said Kim during the online launch of Berocca’s new limited edition Orange-Mango flavor recently.

At the height of the pandemic, Kim says that she learned how to take care of her body. "Isa sa natutunan ko nitong lockdown is to have a healthy lifestyle. So we really need to take care of our health. I work out para patibayin ang resistensya ko."

Kim, now one of the newest hosts of the noontime program "It's Showtime," says that she's hopeful the Filipinos will survive 2020 with flying colors.

"I hope we survive this year with flying colors kahit mabigat ang mga pangyayari. We lost some of our friends and even our jobs," she added.

Chiu says that the resiliency of Filipinos will help us overcome the effects brought about by the pandemic.

"Tayong mga Pilipino may resilience. Kaya natin ito and we have to stay strong. Now, family is really important. The people around you. Kasi sobrang nakaka-praning, nakakalungkot and we have to be strong. Most of us are not ready noong March. Parang nagulat tayong lahat," she says.

Chiu says that she is looking forward to celebrate the holidays under the new normal.

"Lagi ko na rin naiisip lately paano ba natin ise-celebrate ang Pasko kasi nandito lang tayo…we cannot travel where we want to treat ourselves," she says.

Chiu adds: "Let us celebrate Christmas kahit hindi bongga kasi it's the birth of Jesus Christ."
