United City, Kaya seek win No. 2

United City and Kaya-Iloilo look to produce a better showing when they go for their second win against separate clubs on Saturday in the Philippines Football League at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

UCFC takes on Mendiola FC 1991 at 4:30 p.m. before Kaya plays another night game this time against the Azkals Development Team at 8 p.m.

Stallion-Laguna makes its PFL bubble debut opposite Maharlika-Manila in the first match of the tripleheader at 9 a.m.

Both United City and Kaya opened their title bids with respective 1-0 victories opposite ADT and Maharlika, but later lamented that the scoreline didn’t reflect how the two clubs were in control of the two matches.

A better showing is something the two clubs are hoping to produce in order to enhance their chances in the title race.

Stallion is also out to show why it is also a title favorite when it plays a morning match against newcomer Maharlika.

But Maharlika showed in its PFL debut that it can make things difficult for the opposition after providing a strong defensive effort in defeat.
