Domagoso on Saturday met with the heads of the city's disaster risk reduction management office, the city engineer, the city health department and the city electrician to check on their preparedness for the impact of Typhoon "Rolly," which is expected to bring strong winds and rain.

The local government will provide hot meals and food packs to evacuees, who will be brought to Rosauro Almario Elementary School, where free medical checkup awaits them.

I also ordered them to prioritize the care of COVID-19 patients in quarantine facilities),” Domagoso added.

The mayor said his “standing orders” to the department heads are to ensure the immediate restoration of power lines should there be loss of electricity as well as clearing operations in areas where there are fallen trees.

We assure you that the local government will monitor the movement of the typhoon and its impact on our constituents so we could immediate extend assistance),” Domagoso added.

Currently, two rescue boats are on standby in Baseco Compound for possible flash flood.
