For decades, pearls have always been associated with women. But in recent years, the move for men to don these gems has reached new heights.

During the 2019 Met Gala, singer Harry Styles was seen wearing a single drop pearl earring while sporting a now unforgettable sheer Gucci ensemble. In his style repertoire, the 26-year-old artist has been giving pearls the limelight, whether guesting on the Ellen show in a neon green sweater and single strand pearl neckwear, or in his latest musical release "Golden" wherein he is seen with a bigger pearl necklace.

Other personalities who have joined the pearl accessory bandwagon include Shawn Mendes, A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane, Usher, Billie Porter, and Pharrell Williams. Special mention to Pharrell for bending numerous styles and making them mainstream on and off the red carpet, giving modern gents some inspiration.
