Filipina makeup artist wows netizens with her illusion face painting

With its tropical climate, natural wonders, and vibrant culture, the Philippines is blessed to have such breathtaking sceneries. So beautiful that these served as sources of inspiration for many artists like Fernando Amorsolo, Isidro Ancheta, and Cesar Buenaventura.

One woman is also taking the same artistic route. But instead of putting her colors on her canvas, she decided to put it on her face.

Meet Goldie Geanne Allawan Yabes, a 21-year-old Filipina makeup artist who created a camouflage face paint that blends with the rural view of Dampre, Floridablanca, Pampanga. 

She documented the process of her transformation on her YouTube channel. To do it, Goldie used poster paint. She started by painting the sky before the landscape. She then blends yellow hues with green to match tones of the field. After that, she used white paint to highlight some details. Her tip is to use makeup primer to avoid irritation on the skin. 

Apart from doing makeup illusions, Goldie produces custom artworks on shoes. She also does vlogs about scary beauty looks just in time for Halloween.
