McDonald's Philippines has converted the party rooms in its branches nationwide to a distance learning classrooms for teachers who need working space to prepare their lessons or to conduct their online classes in branches with WiFi connection. McDonald's PH will allow teachers to use their facilities for a period of four hours per day with morning and afternoon sessions. A store could accommodate 20 teachers per day. A total of 4,380 teachers daily could use the 219 stores nationwide for free. While McDonald's Philippines would like to accommodate more teachers, they need to limit the number of participants to make sure that physical distancing is strictly enforced.
Aside from the free WiFi where prepaid internet is available, McDonald's will also give free coffee to teachers who would use their facilities.
Teachers who wish to use the McDonald's McClassroom need to visit the stores and register for a slot. The stores are now accepting registration for October 5 to 9 slots.
Here are the participating branches nationwide as posted on McDonald's Facebook page.
