2 city health office workers in Valencia City test positive for COVID-19

DAVAO CITY – Two employees of the City Health Office (CHO) in Valencia City, Bukidnon have tested positive for coronavirus disease.

The City Government of Valencia said the results of the tests of the two employees were returned on Friday, October 2. 

The two employees were female and were aged 43 and 25.

Based on the records, the 45-year-old employee, tagged as Case No. 94, was from Barangay Poblacion, and was experiencing symptoms including fever, cough, and body malaise. The patient is currently admitted at Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center (BPMC).

The 25-year-old employee, identified as Case No. 95, was from Barangay Lumbayao, and was experiencing symptoms including loss of taste and cough. The patient is under strict isolation in the Isolation Facility.

Valencia City has recorded a total of 95 COVID-19 cases, with 36 active cases, 58 recoveries and one death.
