Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
A woman who is claiming to be the ex-girlfriend of K-pop boy band EXO member Chanyeol has accused him of cheating on her while they were in a relationship for three years.
She made the revelation in an online post in South Korea on Oct. 29, telling Chanyeol that this is his “karma.”
The woman said Chanyeol contacted her at the end of October 2017 through a number he got from her acquaintance and they started dating.
She claimed that in the three years that they were together, Chanyeol cheated on her by sleeping with other women including K-pop girl group member, YouTuber, broadcast jockey, dancer and flight attendant.
“Did you like it? You are very famous. Except me, the people around you knew that you were dirty. Only me and your fans really didn't know,” she wrote.
She said she heard that Chanyeol cheated on her with at least 10 people, saying he shouldn’t have done it with her acquaintances.
In less than two days after they broke up, the woman said she called Chanyeol and told him what she knew but he pretended not to know about it. She said she recorded their conversation so the other women can hear his excuses.
“I wish people in the world knew how bad you are. Don't contact me,” she said. Chanyeol’s name trended worldwide on Twitter and he is the No. 1 most searched term on Korean portal Naver after the news came out
Chanyeols’ scandal is another headache for SM Entertainment. It came as the company is reeling from the controversy involving K-pop girl group Red Velvet leader Irene, who was exposed by an editor-stylist for her rude behavior.
In addition, Lay Zhang, another member of EXO, is in hot water in South Korea for posting online to celebrate China’s participation in the Korean War, which lasted from 1950-1953.
