PRC slates online oath-taking of new mechanical engineers, certified plant mechanics on Nov. 9

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the new schedule of the online oathtaking of the new Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics.

On Thursday, the PRC said the new schedule of the postponed online oathtaking will now be on November 9, 2020, Monday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The conduct of the online oath-taking was orginally set last October 26 but was postponed due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Quinta.

In a Facebook post, the commission reminded the new passers of the Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics that inductees shall wear a formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.

Inductees were also reminded to secure an online appointment.

"Please secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as transaction," said PRC.

"Inductees are required to print "OATH OF PROFESSIONAL" form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services," added the commission.

The online oathtaking will be spearheaded by PRC Lucena through Microsoft Teams.
