It’s a date. Upcoming seven-member K-pop boy band ENHYPEN will be making their much-awaited debut at the end of November.
ENHYPEN revealed on the WeVerse app that their first mini-album “Border: Day One” will be released on Nov. 30.
Pre-order for the album will begin today, Oct. 28, until Nov. 29. It is available online and offline and in two versions: “Dawn” and “Dusk.” A video call fansign event will also be held for those who will pre-order the album. A total of 30 customers will win the video call fansign and signed albums. Raffle winners will be announced on Dec. 1.
ENHYPEN, composed of Sunoo, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Jungwon and Ni-ki, have released two cinematic debut trailers: “Choose-Chosen,” which has 3.9 million views since Oct. 21 and “Dusk-Dawn,” which has garnered 3 million views since Oct. 24 on YouTube.
The members of the group were selected through the Korean survival audition show “I-Land” with the finale held in September. They will be debuting under Belift Lab, a joint venture between Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM.
Last Oct. 9, ENHYPEN announced their official fandom name ENGENE from 67,000 entries, which the idol group explained, “Our fandom name has two meanings. First as the pronunciation tells us, our fans are the 'engines' that let us grow and keep on going.”
“Second, you are ENHYPEN's 'gene': you and ENHYPEN share the same DNA to connect, discover and grow together. It's such a good meaning, and easy to say, too. I already feel so much closer to all of you. I hope ENGENE and ENHYPEN can cheer each other and be one great team! Let's make some amazing memories together.”
Since September, ENHYPEN’s social media accounts have garnered millions of followers and subscribers. They have 3.04 million followers on their WeVerse app account, 1.4 million on Instagram, 1.12 million on YouTube, 2.3 million on TikTok and 1.2 million on the members’ Twitter account.
