Zamboanga police seize P3.4-million shabu from 19-yr-old


ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police authorities in this city arrested a teenager Tuesday, and confiscated from him about 500 grams of shabu with an estimated market value of P3.4 million.

Police Regional Office for Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO-9) Director Police Brig Gen Jesus D Cambay Jr. said  police operatives from the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) conducted a buy-bust operation at Sitio Logoy Grande, in the village of Talon-Talon about 5 pm today, Tuesday.

The police, led by Police Major Elmer Solon, arrested Mujib Jamjirul Sakilan, also known as  Mudz, 19, and a resident of Layag-Layag, Barangay Talon-Talon in this city,

Cambay said the police confiscated from Sakilan 10 sachets of shabu weighing about 500 grams with an estimated market value of P3.4 million.

According to Cambay, all the confiscated items were brought to the police laboratory for examination, while Sakilan was now under the temporary custody of the police.
