'The Ellen Show' to bring back live audiences
For the first time since the start of the pandemic, "The Ellen Show" will be having audiences in the studio by Wednesday October 28. (GMT-7)
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the talk show, which has a backlog of 4,000 previously scheduled fans, will select 40 lucky in-studio audience members out of the pool, who will have to follow strict health and safety protocols.
The audiences will return in time for Ellen's "12 Days of Giveaways" starting Nov. 23.
Upcoming guests on the show include Khloé Kardashian, Melissa McCarthy, Magic Johnson, Jimmy Kimmel, Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn Vince Vaughn and Usher.
Note that this is not the first time audiences are coming back on Live programs. Earlier this month, "Saturday Night Live" also returned with a Live audience.
