Build your very own Sesame Street Lego set

With motivation for Zoom quizzes at an all-time low, you’re probably looking for something to help your kids pass the time at home in this crazy world. Sure, you could involve kids in household tasks to keep them occupied, but, before you do, why not while away a few hours building a glorious Lego masterpiece of your very own? A Sesame street set, to be exact? 

Created by LEGO devotee Ivan Guerrero, the 1,367-piece set is a recreation of the street corner at 123 Sesame Street, where the long-running PBS show’s characters have lived for decades.

Created with all the delightful elements of the show, the set is packed with authentic details from the famous New York City neighborhood. 

From Bert and Ernie’s apartment to Big Bird’s nest, builders will marvel in Sesame Street’s most memorable moments.

Kids can even bring their favorite characters to life with the exclusive buildable mini figures which have been moulded specifically for the set, including characters like Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Big Bird.

“As a long-time fan of the LEGO Group and Sesame Street, it has been a dream come true to be able to merge my two passions into a memorable set for fellow builders to enjoy,” Guerrero said in a statement. “LEGO bricks and Sesame Street shaped both my childhood and adult years, and the opportunity to work with the LEGO Ideas team to bring this quintessential New York street to life has been thrilling.”

This set is part of the LEGO Ideas collection, which offers the public the opportunity to submit their own brick creations. Other recent sets inspired by the fans include the Grand Piano and the Friends Central Perk.
