PBA confirms second COVID-19 'suspect' case, this time a player

The PBA announced Sunday that a player has tested positive for the COVID-19.

League commissioner Willie Marcial said they are also cancelling the 4 p.m. game between Blackwater and Rain or Shine.

The "Bubble Clasico" featuring Barangay Ginebra and Magnolia will push through as scheduled at 6:45 p.m.

BCDA president Vince Dizon said the player was already brought to the national quarantine facility in New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac.

The player will undergo the same protocols that the referee who was first reported a "suspect case" had. The referee subsequently tested negative on the confirmatory RT-PCR test
