Michele Gumabao: 'I knew who won last night pa'

Miss Quezon City Michele Gumabao who won 2nd runner-up in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 beauty pageant held in Baguio City revealed she already knew the winner one day before the finals.

"I knew who won last night pa. I tried to go to our viewing party but everyone kept asking what happened, all the hugs, all the looks. I couldn't handle that," said Gumabao in her appreciation post uploaded on the Instagram account of Aces and Queens Sunday night.

Gumabao, sister of actor Marco Gumabao, thanked all her supporters as she assured them that she could handle defeat. She was one of the frontrunners in the inaugural Miss Universe Philippines 2020 beauty pageant.
