Former Beatles frontman Paul McCartney is set to release his album "McCartney III" on Dec. 11, it was announced on Facebook.
Followed by a month of work in his home studio in Sussex in southern England on new songs, McCartney, 78, said that he wrote and performed all the tracks in the latest album.
Pictures for the album were shot by McCartney's daughter, photographer Mary McCartney, with additional images from his nephew Sonny McCartney and some that he took himself on his phone.
